The total number of voters in 10 districts of Khulna division in the 12th National Parliament election on January 7 is 1 crore 34 lakh 46 thousand seven hundred and 83 people. Out of which the number of male voters is 67 lakh 46 thousand 491 and the number of female voters is 67 lakh 205. The total number of polling stations is 4 thousand 984 and the number of polling booths is 30 thousand two hundred and 53. Khulna Regional Election Officer gave this information.

Among the total 36 parliamentary constituencies of Khulna division, the number of nomination papers filed is 322, of which 228 are valid, 94 are invalid and 38 are withdrawn. The total number of contesting candidates for the 36 parliamentary seats of the division is 236.

Among the 10 districts of the division, the total number of voters in 6 parliamentary constituencies of Khulna district is 19 lakh 99 thousand 882 people. Out of which the number of male voters is 10 lakh 84, the number of female voters is 9 lakh 99 thousand 784, the number of Hijra voters is 14, the number of polling stations in the district is 793 and the number of polling booths is 4720. The total number of competing candidates is 39.
